care team

Our Care Team is a small group of devoted volunteers (managed by Pastor), who have the spiritual gift of Mercy (Rom 12:8), with a heart for the hurting and downtrodden, and a brief training in Pastoral Care (provided by Pastor).

The Care Team conducts weekly visits for our members (temporarily or permanently) residing in nursing homes, care facilities, or hospitals. Members of the Care Team provide support, prayer, encouragement, connection, and presence for anyone who has communicated a desire or need.

Our Care Groups provide a place for members to gather together in a small-group setting, during difficult seasons of life as they navigate the related challenges and hardships.

Care Groups are a great way to lean on your faith for support and pursue God's healing, while helping others do the same.

Currently, our Care Groups include: Alcoholics Anonymous (4x per week), and the Food Bank of Lincoln (1x per month).

In 2025 we will be adding two additional Care Groups including: Financial Peace University and Griefshare.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care is a family of counseling-based programs (all certified and credentialed), led by pastor and requested/coordinated by the individual in need.

Pastoral Care is available for anyone with a need and a desire for support.

The Pastoral Care program (all certified and credentialed) currently offers: Biblical Counseling (MABTS), Grief Counseling (AIHM; GRI),

Pre-Marital Counseling (Cengage; Symbis), and Spiritual/Pastoral Care (SCA; ACCC).

If you want to request support, on behalf of yourself or on behalf of a loved one, please communicate with Pastor Jacob directly and he will ensure support is given and all needs are met.
